The latest single to come through RIP Records Introduces single's club is that of the retro sounding Matadors. It seems not a huge amount is known about the Manchester-based musician, but what we do know is that he can pen a swinging sixties style number as shown on this, 'Trumpet Of Conscience'. Pushing vintage pop sounds through a psychedelic prism of fuzzed guitars and free-jazz style trumpets, there is a chirpy catchiness in the riff that has our feet fully stomping. We can't wait to learn more and see this in real life, trumpets and all. - SJ
